Pamela Geller, the conservative bikini blogger behind the site Atlas Shrugs, has sponsored a month-long ad campaign to run on at least 30 city buses in New York. The ads direct passengers to a website Geller created called RefugeFromIslam.com that aims to assist Muslims in leaving the religion.

"As a Muslim woman, I feel it is almost a duty to watch the show, not only for entertainment purposes but to be able to discuss my opinions with other non-Muslim and non-Arab viewers of the show," said Dahhan, who attends Pace University's Lubin School of Business in New York and is president of the Muslim Student Association at the university.

Professor Noam Chomsky, famed linguist and American intellectual, was denied entry into the West Bank this past Sunday. Chomsky was scheduled to speak at the Birzeit University in Ramallah but was turned away at the Allenby Bridge, which connects Jordan to the West Bank, by orders of the Israeli Interior Ministry.
