Illume Magazine Receives 'Excellence In Journalism' Award

We launched Illume Magazine in October 2006 hoping to tell stories that mattered to the Muslim-American community and those who wanted to better understand the emerging, and still developing, segment of society.

In recognition of our efforts to foster a greater understanding and inclusiveness and our vital contribution to Muslim-American journalism, Illume Magazine has been given the Excellence In Journalism award from the California State Senate, as well as the Enhancing Understanding award from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

We invite you to become a part of the Muslim-American experience as we continue this journey in telling OUR story.
