Arab-Americans have a sense of mistrust towards the federal government, especially since 9/11 and the introduction of the Patriot Act, which has impacted many minority communities. Yet community activists are working to convince the Arab-Americans of important benefits of an accurate census count. Not to mention, it’s the law.
